Interagency Working Group assessing occupational damage claimed the losses from Russia’s annexation of Crimea are priced at UAH 1 trillion 200 billion. Specialists have every reason to believe this amount will double in six months, reported Ukrinform.

- As of now, there is a preliminary assessment of the damage, but it is far from final. Every day we get new information from the various bodies and private enterprises. Currently, damage cost constitutes UAH 1 trillion 200 billion, but I think that in the next six months, this amount will double, told the Ukrainian MP Georgy Logvinsky at a briefing in the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.

Interdepartmental Working Group has developed an entire system of law changes allowing to carry out detentions and arrests of aggressor-captured Ukrainian property even today.

- Under operating mechanism 10 ships have been detained, 4- arrested and the property worth several billion hryvnia seized. We keep on working actively both in Ukraine and abroad, regarding the seizure of enterprises which are criminal participants, as well as bringing to justice those who have worked against our country and committed high treason, said the MP.
