KYIV (QHA) -

Ministry of Revenue and Duties of Ukraine initiated changes to the tax code of Ukraine, providing tax exemption for Crimea residents “on the period of occupation”, deputy Minister of Revenue and Duties Ihor Bilous announced.

“We believe, Crimea is a part of Ukraine, so Crimea residents are Ukrainian citizens. Nowadays there is no opportunity for Crimeans to pay taxes. In our opinion tax exemption is the only way to return Crimea residents under Ukrainian jurisdiction”- Bilous said.

He also noted, Ukrainian Ministry of Revenue and Duties launched a new mechanism that allows Crimean legal entities to pay taxes in accordance with Ukrainian legislation by re-registering their business on the territory of Ukraine.
