Ukraine increased the import of natural gas from Europe through Slovakia 2.36 times. Now it amounts to 26,967 million cubic meters per day instead of the previous 11,424 million cubic meters, according to the operator of the Slovak company Eustream.
A total of 194,696 million cubic meters of gas have been imported through Voyany - Uzhgorod pipeline in Slovakia just for the first 13 days of January, according to Eustream.
On January 12, National Joint-Stock Company Naftogaz of Ukraine announced that it intends to resumes gas imports from Europe due to the EBRD credit funds.
Just as reminder: Since the beginning of 2016, Ukraine has stopped supplying gas from Russia, as the proposed by Gazprom price of $ 212 per thousand cubic meters is not acceptable.
