The Ukrainian delegation in the Republic of Turkey has concluded a number of agreements on energy, the Deputy Energy Minister of Ukraine Natalya Boyko informed on her Facebook:
“Today the meeting of the Ukrainian-Turkish working group on energy issues was held.”
She specified that during the negotiations, Vladislav Ramazanov represented the Ministry of Energy, Leonid Benkovsky represented National Nuclear Power Generating Company Energoatom, Oleg Mihaylovich represented the State enterprise for the supply, transportation and storage of natural gas Ukrtransgaz and a State company of Ukraine for extraction, transportation and processing of oil and natural gas Naftogaz was represented by Aleksandr Laktionov.
Important issues of bilateral cooperation in the oil and gas, nuclear, electric power, hydropower, energy efficiency, energy saving and renewable energy sectors were discussed at the meeting.
The representative of the Energy Ministry expressed satisfaction with the talks held and shared her hopes for cooperation with Turkish partners in implementing large-scale investment projects in Ukraine.
Earlier, in mid-March, as part of the visit of Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman to Turkey, the two countries signed an agreement on the terms of mutual trips of citizens and a memorandum on cooperation in the field of education.
