Mustafa Jemilev, Commissioner of Ukrainian President on Crimean Tatar Affairs, wrote about the talks in Turkey on his Facebook page.

“During the meeting between Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglu, as part of the official visit of the Ukrainian delegation to the Republic of Turkey, the primary focus was on the prospects of cooperation between the two countries in trade and economic sectors, as well as investments, energy and transport,” he wrote.

According to Jemilev, Petro Poroshenko said that the openness of markets is an essential requirement for increasing bilateral trade, and therefore he stressed the need to accelerate negotiations on the conclusion of the Free Trade Agreement between Ukraine and Turkey.

“Petro Poroshenko and Ahmet Davutoglu agreed to forge closer cooperation on joint participation in the development of energy infrastructure and the implementation of international energy corridors," Mustafa Jemilev stressed.
