Following the introduction of a summer flight schedule on March 27, the Turkish Airlines will launch daily flights from the city of Ivano-Frankivsk to Istanbul, reported the Typical Ivano-Frankivsk.
According to the preliminary information, Turkish Airlines will run flights departing from Istanbul at 9.05 a.m. and arriving in Ivano-Frankivsk at 11.05 a.m. (flight TK437). The TK438 return flight will depart from Ivano-Frankivsk at 12.00 p.m. and arrive in Istanbul at 2.05 p.m. The ticket sale has not started yet.
The new flight with transfer in Istanbul will expand the opportunities for Ukrainian residents as Turkish Airlines is one of the largest airline route networks in the world.
The first time the opportunity for cooperation was reported by Mayor Ruslan Martsinko in late January following a meeting with Mustafa Hakan Yilmaz, Director of the Turkish Airlines office in Kyiv.
Currently, the residents of the city of Ivano-Frankivsk can fly to Istanbul with a transfer in Kiev or Lviv where Turkish Airlines, Pegasus and Atlasjet Ukraine run direct flights to Istanbul.
