Turkish air companies - Turkish Airlines и AtlasJet have stopped their flights to Crimea.
In particular all Turkish Airlines flights to Simferopol are canceled till June 17 “due to political instability”, informs web site of the company. AtlasJet announced suspension of flights till April 9 so far.
“Ukraine International Airlines” canceled flights to Crimea till April 29.
At present, only Russian air companies carry out flights to and from Simferopol.
To note, cancellation of flights are connected to uncertain status of Simferopol airport and restrictions introduced by International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). Under the rules of ICAO, flights cannot be carried out to the regions, which status is not recognized by the international community.
