This figure was made public by the Interdepartmental Commission, which worked at the Crimean Plenipotentiary Representative.
“In 2015, the number of detected offenses in economic sphere has significantly increases, namely six times. There were four dozen crimes that in some or other way related to embezzlement of budget money. Hence, the loss caused to the state is estimated at more than RUB 200 million,” such a statement was made by Sergey Neshtenko, Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the Russian President in the Crimean Federal District.
According to the head of the Commission, the primary segment of the criminal activity at the higher levels of regional and executive power is related to road service and public utilities.
