Customs Service of Russia has established offices in Simferopol and Sevastopol, to be under direct subordination to the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation.  Employees of the Ukrainian Customs in these cities will be transferred to Russian Customs after receiving Russian passports, said head of Russian Federal Customs Service Andrey Belyaninov.

“Two customs services offices are opened in Simferopol and Sevastopol…I will supervise the work personally, as during the first months a lot of decisions will need to be taken very fast”, said Belyaninov.

“All Customs officers in Simferopol and Sevastopol will be transferred to Russian Customs after they receive Russian passports”, added Belyaninov.

He noted those who refuse Russian passports, will not be able to get a job at the Russian Customs.
