Today, the Central Bank of Russia has issued a commemorative banknote of 100 rubles with one side being devoted to the city of Sevastopol, while the other – to the Republic of Crimea.

- One side of the banknote is dedicated to Crimea and depicts castle "Swallow's Nest." The other side has the Monument to the scuttled ships in Sevastopol Bay, a fragment of a picture by Aivazovsky "The Russian squadron on the Sevastopol raid." Both images are placed vertically, according to the website of the Russia’s Central.

The circulation of the banknotes is 20 million copies.
