Ukraine, Turkey and Panama appeared to be the main trade partners of Russia-annexed Crimea in the last nine months, reported today the Head of Crimean customs, Customs Colonel Vladimir Avramenko at a press conference in the city of Simferopol.
- Major trading partners – Ukraine accounting for 60% of Crimean total trade, Turkey - 17%, Panama - 11%, as well as Libya and India. As for import, Ukraine, Turkey, China, Italy and Poland are among the leaders, told Avramenko.
According to him, the turnover amounted to more than 942 thousand tons. As for the number of vehicles, for the last 9 months more than 50 thousand tons of goods have been imported and more than 42 thousand - exported.
Furthermore, 1233 vessels have entered Crimea. 120 thousand commercial vehicles, more than 500 thousand cars, about 14 thousand buses and more than 2.5 million citizens have crossed the Crimean checkpoints.
- In general, through the checkpoints in the north of Crimea, said the Head of Customs.
According to Avramenko, for the first 9 months the foreign trade turnover amounted to more than USD 320 million.
