Russia postponed Crimea development program till 2020

Russian government has postponed financing of social economical program of Crimea till 2020, and put Crimea development program on so-called “waiting list”.

There are 46 programs that are to be implemented in 2015, 33 programs to be implemented in 2016 and 27 implemented in 2017.

Still there are 5 programs, developed on the instructions of Russian President, that were put on so-called “waiting list”. It means the financing of these programs is not provided yet.

Earlier, Russia announced it would spend 100 billion rubles (about $3 billion) in 2015 on Crimea’s development, that includes expenditures on the construction of a bridge across the Kerch Strait to link mainland Russia and the Black Sea peninsula.
