RUB 250 million to be spent on deported citizens

“In excess of RUB 250 million is to be allocated to meet the needs of deported citizens this year,” said Sergey Aksyonov, Head of the Crimea, while presenting the Cabinet of Minister’s action report covering a period from March 2014 to September 2015.

“As part of the Federal Target Help Program, a total of RUB 10 billion will be spent on the needs of the deported by 2020. RUB 250 million is going to be spent this year, with the last year year’s figure being RUB 333 million,” Aksyonov is quoted as saying by the press service of the Crimean Government.

Aksyonov went on to say that 289 compact settlements for deported citizens have been constructed in Crimea.

According to him, as little as 5% of the compact settlements have sewerages, while only 6% have hard-surface roads.
