Rosselkhoznadzor officers (Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance of Russia) banned a large consignment of beef with unidentified date of production from Ukraine.

The cargo with a total weight of 20 tons was delivering from Ternopil region to Sevastopol city through Armyansk town.

“There were no date-marks on the part of consignment (bags), which induced reasonable doubts as to suitability of this product for consumption,” the report says.

The consignment of beef was returned to Ukraine territory.
