Poroshenko and Duda discuss free trade with the EU

The Heads of States discuss all the possibilities of a free trade zone with the European Union

The Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and the President of Poland Andrzej Duda discussed the use of all the possibilities provided by the declaration on a free trade zone between Ukraine and the European Union signed on January 1, informed Petro Poroshenko at the joint press conference with the Polish president according to a QHA correspondent.

“Ukrainian businessmen are now trying to make full use of these opportunities to compensate for the economic embargo by Russia. I am sure that this cooperation and invitation of investors from the European Union to Ukraine is very important for us, as well as participation of Polish investors in privatization process started by the Ukrainian government,” said the Ukrainian President.

August 23, the President of Poland Andrzej Duda started a two-day visit to Ukraine. The Head of the Polish state took part in the main celebrations in honor of the 25th anniversary of the Ukraine's Independence.
