The so-called Office of veterinary and phytosanitary control Rosselkhoznadzor for Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol city conducted a raid on the largest grocery market of the peninsula, the Simferopol "Privoz". According to the agency’s press-service, another glaring fact of foreign products storage and sale was revealed as a result.

“In particular, it emerged that the entrepreneur stored 25 kilograms of Polish lettuce "Iceberg" and 120 kilograms of pears, which were exported from Lithuania, according to the marking,” the occupational department reported.

Prohibited products have been withdrawn from circulation and destroyed with burial method at the solid municipal waste landfill in Simferopol.
