Minimal wage in Crimea to be reduced

Crimean authorities have reduced the minimal wage in the region for transition period, Minister of Social Policy of Crimea Elena Romanovskaya announced.

“We urge to submit the decree on reducing the minimal wage in Crimea for transition period to the Parliament session”- she noted.

Meanwhile Crimean Premier Sergey Aksyonov announced, that the wage in Crimea will be reduced from 5554 to 4628 rubles, and urged the ministry to agree with trade unions on the figures, KIA reported.

“I will agree with you, if the trade unions make no objections”- he said.

After the Crimean annexation by Russian Federation in March, the authorities declared so-called transition period.
