ANKARA (QHA) -

Negotiations between the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Turkey started in the Turkish capital Ankara, according to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's press center.

The talks focus on renewal of the agreement between the authorities of the two states on the mutual promotion and protection of investments. The result of the negotiations, that is, the update of this agreement, will be improvement of the conditions in Ukraine to attract Turkish investments.

Director of the Legal Department of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade Alexei Perevezentsev was appointed the Head of the Ukrainian delegation. The delegation also included the Director of the Department of International Law of the Ministry of Justice Tamara Andreyeva, the Head of the Foreign Ministry Economic Cooperation Department Alexander Danileiko, First Deputy Director of the Legal Department of the Secretariat to the Cabinet of Ministers Alexei Kapitonov and others.

November 28, the Agricultural Forum "Ukraine-Turkey" was held in Kiev. The forum aimed at expanding the opportunities for international cooperation in agriculture between the two friendly states.
