IV Black Sea Economic Forum opened in Yalta

IV International Economic Forum started its work in the Livadia Palace in Yalta. During the official opening the Prime Minister of Ukraine Nikolay Azarov on behalf of the President of Ukraine welcomed the participants of the Forum.

Noting the importance of the event for the development of regional cooperation, Azarov said: "I am delighted to welcome everyone at the opening of the IV Black Sea Economic Forum. It is a pleasure to see here today representatives of many countries of the Black Sea region. The solutions that were taken in this historic place some time ago ensured peace and stability in Europe for many years. Today, I want the decisions that are going to be made at the Forum to bring the Crimea new good commercial projects, to develop infrastructure projects and to strengthen cooperation with all countries of the Black Sea region".

As reported, the International Black Sea Economic Forum is an annual platform for dialogue between the leading government and business stakeholders, international experts and media to discuss economic growth and cooperation within the Black Sea region.

The Forum attracted more than 700 participants from 30 countries in three years. In 2012 forum brought together over 200 state officials, experts and business leaders from 21 countries.
