Industrial Park in Crimea to be built by Russia, not Turkey as planned

Bakhchisaray city mayor Konstantin Rubanenko took part in Kazan Summit 2014 in Tatarstan, June 6.

In the frameworks of the summit Rubanenko has signed bilateral treaty with Director General of Russian “Idea Capital” company Aleksey Grushyn on cooperation in creating “Bakhchisaray Industrial Park” project.

Earlier, before the Crimea’s unification with Russia, talks on creation the industrial park were held with Turkey. 

Representatives of 57 countries participated in the event.

Among the speakers were Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Economy of the United Arab Emirates Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation - Ilyas Umahanov, Minister for EU Affairs of Turkey Mevlut Chuvushoglu, Russian Foreign Ministry's Ambassador-at-large Konstantin Shuvalov, Deputy Minister of Economy of Qatar Sultan Al-Khater and the others.

KazanSummit, organized by IBDF Foundation, non-profit fund of Islamic business and finance development, was founded at 2009. The main task is to assist the development of economic and business relationship between Russia and OIC country members.
