IMF provides $17 billion in loans for Ukraine

International Monetary Fund has adopted a decision to provide Ukraine with $17.01 billion in loans, Channel "24" reports.

The Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund has accepted the two-year stand-by loan package for Ukraine in total amount of $17.01 billion.

Earlier, Finance Minister Oleksandr Shlapak has reported that Ukraine expect the first $3 billion IMF tranche will be provided as soon as May 5-8.
