JSC Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller said the gas discount for Ukraine will be cancelled since the beginning of April.
He said this at a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on Tuesday, Ukrinform reports.
"Gazprom has decided not to extend the discount next month," Miller said.
According to him, this decision is due to the fact that the Ukrainian partners do not fulfill the agreements that were reached when signing an addendum to the contract on granting the discount.
In turn, Medvedev said: "The decisions that you make on the abolition of preferential forms of supplies, in these conditions, look absolutely legitimate."
