KYIV (QHA) -

The European Union will provide Ukraine with macro-financial assistance only after the Anti-Corruption Court is established. According to the rules of macro-financial assistance, it is allocated only to countries that have a working program of cooperation with the International Monetary Fund.

Thus, Ukraine will receive assistance when cooperation with the IMF is established.

According to the sources in European Commission, in addition to creating the Anti-Corruption Court, the first tranche will be available only after processing an automatic verification of declarations.

Earlier, Petro Poroshenko informed Christine Lagarde, the Managing Director of the IMF that the Anti-Corruption Court draft law to be presented in Verkhovna Rada soon. Christine Lagarde, in turn, stressed her support of Poroshenko’s desire to present the draft law as soon as possible, in accordance with the recommendations of the Venice Commission and IMF program’s agreements.
