Crimea will import chocolate and cacao from China, Crimean Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Nikolay Polyushkin announced at the press-conference May 22.
Minister also emphasized that Crimea faces deficit of confectionary, and urged to develop the production of sweets.
“There is only one confectionary factory and other small firms working in Crimea. They are not able to provide Crimean market with confectionary in full. We should enlarge the production as we have all the facilities for this”- he said.
To recall, products of Ukraine’s largest confectionary corporation Roshen, owned by Ukrainian presidential candidate Petro Poroshenko were banned on the territory of Russia and Crimea.
