Crimea takes delivery of Turkish products

Turkey has begun to deliver products to the annexed Crimea. This refers to plant products, which will be transported by sea.

Turkey continues to deliver fruits to Crimea and Sevastopol, Rosselkhoznadzor (Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance of Russia) reports. A total of 406.67 tons of product being subject to the agency control have been already imported to the peninsular. 

Over the October 1 – 19 period, 385.07 tons of fresh fruits and 21.6 tons of dried fruits have been already imported to Crimea from Turkey. 

It was reported earlier that the delivery of food to Crimea from Ukraine was blocked by the Crimean Tatar and Ukrainian activists. Any product which is intended for sale on the peninsula cannot be delivered from Ukraine.
