According to the authorities of Russia-annexed Crimea, agricultural producers need about 7-10 years to revive the dairy sector, said the Crimean Deputy Minister of Agriculture Nikolai Polyushkin.

In recent years most of the raw materials for the Crimean dairy enterprises have been imported from Ukraine, but now they have established the delivery from other Russian regions.

- According to statistics, 94% of the milk produced in Crimea is provided by private households and only 6% - agricultural enterprises. Our task is to invert this imbalance. In 1990, 20% of the milk was produced by the households and 80% -  enterprises, said Polyushkin as cited by Crimea media agency.
