The Crimean delegation, headed by deputy head of Crimean Council of Ministers Georgiy Psarev is on a working visit in California (USA). The visit is taking place in the framework of preparation of bilateral agreement between Crimea and California, informs press service of the Crimean Council of Ministers. In particular, the Crimean delegation met with the director of the office of the Mayor of San Francisco on international trade and commerce Mark Chandler, at which economic potential of Crimea and investment policies of the region were presented. Georgiy Psarev noted the potential for development of trade and economic relations between Crimea and California. Director of office of San Francisco Mayor’s office expressed interest in developing bilateral agreement between California and Crimea: “The prospects of mutually beneficial cooperation are supported by the existence of Strategy for socio-economic development of Crimea and the investment policy of the region. Our regions can also exchange experience in the field of municipal management and protection of intellectual property rights”. Besides, the Crimean delegation met with Vice President for international relations of the Chamber of Commerce of California Susan Stirling, representatives of business circles and Ukrainian community in Sacramento. “The Chamber of Commerce of California is ready to promote import of Crimean goods to California and provide informational support to investment projects by their publication in the Chamber’s editions”, said Susan Stirling.
