(QHA) - The Ukrainian government has decided to establish a state-financed institution - the Center for Integrated Safety of Coal Industry Enterprises, according to Interfax-Ukraine.
Relevant resolution No. 1048-r dated December 25, 2013 was published on the government's web site.
"The center is being established to improve the safety of work in mines of coal industry enterprises through centralized control of mine air and mining equipment, and to prevent the emergence of dangerous situations with the help of automated prediction system," the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
The institution will be subordinate to State Service of Mining Supervision and Industrial Safety of Ukraine.
