Kyiv (QHA) - Ukrainian Prime Minister Nykolay Azarov has ordered the government to get to the bottom of the problem with the import of Ukrainian goods into Russia and create a working group to work on the issue, forUm reports. According to Ukrainian government envoy on cooperation with Russia Valeriy Muntiyan, Ukrainian Economic Development and Trade Ministry is now monitoring the situation with the export of Ukrainian goods into Russia and is actively working with the Russian authorities on resolving this problem. As reported, Ukrainian authorities claim that Russia imposed a ban on almost all Ukrainian commodities crossing the Russian border. In turn Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt claimed that Russia is beginning a silent trade war against Ukraine to block its relations with the EU, he posted on Twitter. Still according to Russia's chief epidemiologist Gennady Onishchenko Russia has complaints about Ukraine's consumer protection record, but it is wrong to describe this situation as a trade war. "I am speaking about the need for products to meet the requirements of laws on consumer rights protection and quality. This is exactly what I mean”, - he claimed, reported Interfax.
