Another batch of Ukrainian beef prevented from entering Crimea

Rosselkhoznadzor, a Russian sanitary authority in Crimea, prevented a 12,8-ton shipment of beef, originating in the Vinnitsa region of Ukraine, from entering Crimea.

According to the press service of Rosselkhoznadzor, meat products manufactured by Trostyanets meat-processing plant were banned from being brought into Crimea ‘after lab tests found them to contain excessive amounts of dangerous substances ‘.

“Physical inspection of the products revealed illegible stamps, blood tumors and traces of feces on the products”, says a report issued by Rosselkhoznadzor .

After being inspected, the shipment was diverted to its point of origin in Ukraine.
