Vogue, the world's most famous fashion magazine for women, believes that the growing popularity of clothing and fashion accessories, produced in Ukraine, has created its own revolution, according to the international version of the magazine’s website.
“Ever since the protests of 2014, Ukrainian fashion industry has created its own revolution. There has been a sudden upsurge of patriotism with the increasing popularity of homemade products that seem to affect the sales of even the major brands,” Vogue writes.
Wreaths and embroidery are considered to be the most fascinating symbols and attributes of Ukrainian fashion, according to Vogue. The magazine also notes that the number of ‘Made in Ukraine’ search queries has rapidly increased, especially on social media. For example, when entering the above query in an Instagram app, the search turns up 150,000 photos with various suggestions for purchase of Ukrainian goods.
