Ukrainian music video directors have received the prestigious MTV Video Music Awards for the video created for Up & Up song of popular band Coldplay, Vogue writes.
The award ceremony was held in New York on August 28. The Ukrainians have won the first place in the category "Best Visual Effects".
Ukrainian studio Gloria FX from the city of Dnipro was involved in creation of special effects for a month and a half. Most images were filmed in Kyiv studio.
Gloria FX also created music videos for Kanye West, Marilyn Manson, Muse, David Guetta, One Republic and other well-known groups and performers.
Surreal clip Up & Up (“Above and beyond") was released in May of this year. The press called this work as "the best music video of the decade". Over 76 million people have watched the video on YouTube.
