Ukrainian documentary movie "Winter in the fire" has been shortlisted for a prestigious film award "Oscar,” according to an official website of the Film Academy.

Such movies as "Amy," "The Look of Silence", "What happened, Miss Simone," and "Cartel land" are also among the nominees for the award. The "Winter in fire" tells about a 93-day period of the Ukrainian Revolution of Dignity in winter 2013-2014.

The film, shot by Eugene Afineevskiy, has interviews with Euromaidan participants, on-the-spot reports and a large-scale view of the conflict.
