Kyiv (QHA) - In September, for the first time over the history of Ukraine’s independence, Ukrainian Culture Days will be held in Turkey. This was said at a briefing by the First Deputy Culture Minister Tymofiy Kokhan, reports Ukrinform.
“For the first time over the history of independence and our relations with Turkey, Days of Ukrainian Culture will be held. It is the first time we hold them at the adequate level, so we would like to show the best we have. They will start on September 9.”, - Kokhan said.
It also should be noted, a meeting of the commission on cultural cooperation between Ukraine and China will be held in Beijing next month. It is planned that two important agreements are signed.
“From September 9-13, the second meeting of the commission on cultural cooperation between Ukraine and China will be held. This culture commission has been working within the frames of the large Ukraine-China Commission, headed by First Vice Prime Minister Serhiy Arbuzov. In Beijing, it is planned to sign two agreements - between the State Archives of Ukraine and the relevant structure in China, as well as agreements on cultural cooperation between Ukrainian and Chinese Culture Ministries,” claimed Kokhan.
