The winner of Eurovision-2016, Ukrainian singer Jamala of Crimean Tatar origin is currently in Istanbul since she is scheduled to perform at one of Turkey's most famous scenes - Cemil Topuzlu Open-Air Theatre.
It was during the preparation of the performance when Jamala held a joint rehearsal with the winner of Eurovision-2003, Turkish pop star Sertab Erener. The Ukrainian singer posted a picture to Facebook with a caption "Tomorrow (Aug. 16 -. Ed.)
I will be the guest of Sertab Erener concert ... Be ready for our surprise ..." By surprise, of course, Jamala meant her scheduled tonight duet with the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest in 2003.
Sertab Erener is theTurkish pop star, one of the most successful singers in Turkey, who won the Eurovision Song Contest 2003 with the song Everyway That I Can.
August 17, Jamala will give a performance in Istanbul at an open concert hall Cemil Topuzlu Open-Air Theatre. She will sing Turkish songs by famous singers, as well as the old folk Turkish and Crimean Tatar songs.
