Ukrainian singer Jamala, a Crimean Tatar native, will play a cameo role in ‘Pauline’ feature film.

The filmmakers from France, Belgium and Ukraine are involved in creating the film. The director is Olias Barco, known for his ‘Maximum Extreme’ and ‘Kill Me Please’ films. The operator is Thierry Arbogast, a long-term co-author of Luc Besson, who filmed ‘Leon’ (1994), ‘The Fifth Element’ (1997) and ‘Lucy’ (2014).

The Ukrainians Vasyl Virastyuk and director Miroslav Slaboshpytsky will also participate in filming. 

‘Pauline’ film is a story of a little girl who goes on a magical journey to find the truth about her family.
