The opening of Preservation of Cultural Values exhibition will be held at the Art Museum of the Bakhchysarai Historical, Cultural and Archaeological Museum-Reserve at 2 pm on October 23, 2015.
According to the press service of the Reserve, the exhibition will showcase the artifacts which have been preserved and renovated by the restorers of the Reserve as a result of meticulous and complicated work. The artifacts that underwent restoration for the past two years were selected for display.
The exhibition will showcase 28 artifacts belonging to different eras and styles: from ancient times to the 19th century. However, these are only a small part of restored items: manuscripts, prayer rugs (namazliks), religious cult objects of Karaites, archaeological finds, numismatics, and objects made of ceramic, wood and metal.
The visitors will be able to get acquainted with various collections of the Museum. The exhibition will be interesting not only for specialists but also for a wide range of visitors.
