KYIV (QHA) -

In a span of sixth year, the moviegoers keep getting to know recent interesting movies of the countries bordering Ukraine in the framework of the upcoming Festival. The movies will be screened from October, 16 to 18 in the National Centre for Performing Arts named after Les Kurbas (NTSTM) in Vladimir St., 23 B. All screenings will be followed by discussions.

Poland will show two films. "Scars" (2004), directed by Magdalena Pekozh, will be showcased at the Lira cinema in Zhytomyrska St., 40. One can watch the drama for a symbolic price of UAH 25, a reduced-fare ticket is UAH 5 cheaper.

The second film by Polish director is a modern psychological drama "Zbliżenia " (2015) describing the strength of family ties.
