KYIV (QHA) -

September 9, the Minister of Culture Yevhen Nyshchuk, informed that the Russian singers, who are denied entry to Ukraine, will not be able to visit the singing contest.

“If performers are subject to the penalties for their violations, Ukraine is not going to compromise. Russia knows this. So, if they choose such a singer, Ukraine will consider it a provocation,” Yevhen Nyshchuk said.

He went on saying that, in his opinion, Russia has enough talented performers who understand that one should not speak the language of aggression.

The Organizing Committee has announced the city that will host the international song contest "Eurovision-2017". The winner is the capital of Ukraine - Kiev.

The Minister of Culture informed about the possible establishment of new kind of public transport in the capital.
