Ukrainian singer Maria Yaremchuk has won the national selection for participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 following a mixed vote by spectators and jury, the First National TV Channel has reported, according to Ukrinform. "Our singer Maria Yaremchuk wrote the song 'Tick-Tock' herself - both music and words. The spectators selected her in the national selection! We wish Maria success in Copenhagen," reads the statement. The Eurovision Song Contest 2014 will be held in Denmark, whose representative won this year's song contest in Sweden.
