Today, a solo exhibition of the famous artist Mamut Churlu has been opened at the Crimean Tatar Museum of Cultural and Historical Heritage in Simferopol. According to the author, the centerpiece of the exhibition is a textile sculpture "33" devoted to the Holodomor of early 30-ies of the last century.
“When preparing for the exhibition, I wanted to show not only the works of recent years, but those that were made for the whole creative period of about 40 years. Some works presented in reproductions, others in magazine articles,” said Mamut Churlu.
The artist also noted that the exhibition will be held at the Crimean Tatar Museum of Cultural and Historical Heritage for one month. Then it will move to the Crimea Union of Artists building.
