First Crimean Tatar feature movie ‘Haytarma’ claims the title of the best feature film at the Russian ‘Golden eagle’ movie award in 2013, informs Moskovskiy komsomolets. ‘Haytarma’ is a movie about deportation of Crimean Tatars from Crimea in 1944 and it was filmed in Ukraine, but it has Kazan film studios in its titles, which enabled it to be included into the list of participating movies. The ‘Golden eagle’ ceremony will take place in the end of January 2014 at Mosfilm in Moscow. Note: Golden eagle is a Russian national movie award. It was established by National Academy of motion picture arts and sciences of Russia. The selection of movies is carried out by an expert council.
