Fund of Crimean Committee of Muslims gets ancient books

Fund of Committee of Muslims of Crimea was replenished with ancient copies of Qurans and religious books written in Arabic alphabet.

Among them, Islamic textbooks and Qurans published in 19th-20th centuries, the most valuable is the biography of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) written in verse.

According to Crimean Tatar customs and traditions expert Enver Nogashev this book was very popular among Crimean Tatars.

“It is considered on of the rarest books. It experience the deportation and returned to Crimea”- the expert said.

Nogashev also highlighted the Quran, published by publishing house ‘Terciman’ in Bakhchisaray 1896.

The expert noted if money is available, the books may be translated into Russian language soon.
