AQMESCİT/SIMFEROPOL (QHA) - Broadcasting of the 1st children’s channel Lale (“Tulip” in Crimean Tatar – ed.) will start since June 1, 2013. According to ATR Channel, programmes oriented to small TV viewers will be prepared by their peers: journalists and television anchorpersons of the same ages.
The Lale is created on base of the Crimean Tatar ATR Channel. It will broadcast 24 hours using the satellite in three languages: Crimean Tatar, Russian and Ukrainian.
The Lale will produce more than a half of broadcasts. There will be children’s cultural and educational, musical, popular science programmes. Thus, small viewers will watch broadcasts that they have already seen on the ATR air: the Tatlı Ses children’s show of talents, news for children and teenagers Balçoqraq (Honey Spring), entertaining evening tale for kiddies Aqşam Masalı. There will be the new programmes: the educational broadcast Veselka (Rainbow), brain programme Corporation SIMBA and culinary - Yaş Aşçı (Young Cook).
The Lale plans also to transmit cartoons, feature films and television serials. Some of them journalists and television anchormen of the channel will dub themselves.
Target group for the Lale is the children and teenagers from 6 till 18, however, the channel’s team hopes their programmes will be interested for adults too. “Our aim is to create really family’s channel”, - the editor-in-chief of the Lale Channel Hüsniye Halil noted.
Young television anchorpersons and journalists for the channel were selected very long time. The ATR employees and artists of the Crimean Tatar Music and Drama Theatre trained children. They were taught to comfort with confidence themselves before the TV camera, to improve the scenic speech and the language skills.
“It is hard to work with the rising generation. This takes a lot of time and effort but results are worth the effort”, - Ms. H. Halil stressed. According to her, even now many young journalists want to devote their lives to this profession and are prepared to enter the specialized universities. The Lale will broadcast using the satellite Astra 4A (4.8 ° E).
