Film about annexation of Crimea to be shown in Finland

As part of the film representation, a Skype conference with Nariman Aliyev and Refat Chubarov is to be held.

October 29, a film about the annexation of Crimea will be shown in Finland, according to the event’s Facebook page.

Reportedly, the show to present a film about the occupation of Crimea and three short films by the Ukrainian director Nariman Aliyev. The event will take place at the Embassy of Ukraine in Finland.

Moreover, in the framework of the presentation, a Skype conference with Nariman Aliyev will be held, as well as with the Head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov.

Russia occupied Crimea in February-March 2014, saying the rigged referendum on March 16 was the will of the Crimean people to join the Russian Federation. Most of the world has not recognized Crimea as a part of Russia. For Ukraine, the Crimea still remains temporarily occupied territory.
