On September 5, a solemn reception of the Embassy of Ukraine in Georgia took place in Tbilisi in connection with the 26th anniversary of the Independence Day of Ukraine and the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between official Kyiv and Tbilisi, the press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported.

The event was attended by the Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili, members of the Georgian parliament, senior officials of the country, as well as representatives of the diplomatic corps and others.


After the congratulatory speeches of politicians and diplomats, the artistic dance collective Badem, a Bandura player Marina Krut and a singer Alie Hadzhabadinova presented the national folklore culture of the Crimean Tatar people.

The day before, the girls took part in the International Black Sea Festival in the Black Sea Arena concert hall. The festival is supported by the State Folklore Center of Georgia, the Concert Hall, the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection within the framework of the governmental program Check in Georgia, intended to popularize Georgia at the international level.
