Crimean Tatar movie to represent Ukraine at Berlinale

A movie was shot in summer 2015 in Crimea.

A short film by a young Ukrainian director Nariman Aliyev “SENSIZ” (Without You) will represent Ukraine at the 66th Berlin International Film Festival, the director wrote on Facebook.

The film was selected in the list of a youth competition program "Generation 14+". The film tells about a Crimean Tatar family. The main roles were played by non-professional actors – the director’s cousins Remzi and Fevzi Bilyalov.

- I would like to thank everyone who helped me in creating the movie, first of all, my parents and relatives. It was a pleasure to work with you, wrote Aliyev.

The festival is to be held in Berlin February, 11- 21.
