In the Turkish city of Kırıkkale, with the assistance of the local branch of the Association for the Culture and Mutual Aid of the Crimean Tatars of Turkey, Tepresh holiday will be celebrated.
Reportedly, the event will be held on July 7.

Within the framework of the festival performances of Crimean Tatar singer Dilyaver Osmanov, is planned as well as reading of poems in the Crimean Tatar language; the national cuisine of the Crimean Tatar people will be presented at the event.

Tepresh is a national holiday of Crimean Tatars, following Hıdrellez. On this day, various games are organized (wrestling kuresh, children's competitions). Treats prepared in Crimean Tatar homes, people invite their relatives.

The holiday traditionally begins with the prayer "Tepresh" and the singing of the national anthem of the Crimean Tatars. The organizers of the holiday published a program of events on this day.

Earlier, four cities of Turkey hosted cultural events organized by the Association of Culture and Mutual Aid of the Crimean Tatars.

On February 26, the opening of the photo exhibition "Homeland under occupation" was held in the Turkish city of Adana, dedicated to the 4th anniversary of the annexation of Crimea by Russia. Photo album, which was presented at the exhibition, was prepared by the City Hall, the information agency QHA and the Crimean Tatar dernek in Adana and Ceyhan.
