Crimean Tatar craftsmen and artists take part in the International Festival of Culture and Arts in Büyükçekmece in Turkey.

Representatives from 64 countries of the world participate in a large-scale event. Among them are the Crimean Tatars: painter-ceramicist Elvis Tatarov, embroiderers Dilyar Kurbanov and Aliye Tatarova. The master from Simferopol, Enver Yashlavsky, is known for his artistic works with stained glass.

The festival started on July 27 and will last until August 4.

Crimean Tatar masters of art greeted the Head of the municipality of Büyükçekmece Hasan Akgun. He handed them gratitude letters.


Reportedly, the Festival in Büyükçekmece was highly appreciated by the International Council for the Organization of Festivals of Folklore and Traditional Arts - CIOFF.

Earlier, QHA reported that Crimean Tatar children participated in the "Ukrainian Talent Festival", which was held in the United States. The children performed the song "Ey Güzel Kırım" and danced "Korbek Qaytarmasi".
