Crimean Tatars took part in the XVI All-Ukrainian Charitable Festival "Black Sea Games", which took place in Skadovsk from July 27 to 29.

Reportedly, 563 contestants took part in the festival. Two Crimean Tatar children, Server Karabaev and Edie Akhmetova, entered to the semifinals. Server Karabayev performed the Ukrainian song "Chornobryvtsi", and Edie Akhmetov - the Crimean Tatar folk song "Sudağın yolları".

Thus, Karabayev Server took the third place in the category "Boys Junior Group".

This year the contest jury included singer Nadezhda Dorofeeva, singer and composer Oleksandr Ponomariov, producers Ruslan Kvinta, Roman Mukha, Natela Chkhartishvili-Zatsarina, Olena Mozgova, as well as a member of the Ukrainian National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting Valentin Koval.

Earlier, it was reported that the first Crimean Tatar film-fairy tale "Hidir dede" will be screened in the "Zhovten" cinema from August 2 to August 8. The movie gives a picture of the culture and traditions of the Crimean Tatars of the eighteenth century.
